Dmitry Dain is the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer at Virgil Security, Inc. He started his career at World Data Network - one of the first commercial ISPs in Northern Virginia. After that he joined Ascend/Lucent to work on remote access concentrators and shortly thereafter worked on 802.11-based products including Apple's Airport and Lucent's Orinoco product lines. He worked on white-label versions of various D-link Wi-Fi routers while at TI.
After TI, Dmitry joined a small start-up Shared Spectrum Company (SSC) which won a large $20 million program from DARPA. He was the technical approach author and principal software engineer / manager on the project. He holds multiple patents related to Dynamic Spectrum Access technology. DSA software is currently deployed in DoD radios.
Following SSC, he started kadoo.com and divshare.com - private video sharing and media publishing sites that has nearly 3 million registered users.
Dmitry was an early and avid bitcoin contributor. This paved the way to his starting Virgil Security, Inc.
